• To encourage the campers to become the best that they can be, both in and out of the pool.

• To develop and improve individual and team skills of water polo.

• To help each individual to develop a winning attitude!

Our Camp

Camp Structure & Schedule

At Malibu Water Polo Camp, the athletes will be divided into two groups; Field Players and Goalkeepers.

Field players will be coached by six-time Olympian Terry Schroeder. This program is very extensive and covers all aspects of the game. Since a good field player should be a “jack of all trades and a master of one” – the camp will include aspects of setting at 2 meters, posting up, (driver) offense and defense, center defender work, counter attack positioning, 6 on 5 offense and defense, shooting and much more.

Goalkeepers will be coached by three-time Olympian Merrill Moses. This program will cover everything a goalie needs to know to improve his/her game. The skills learned will include conditioning drills, body positioning, shot blocking of all types, passing and becoming the leader on defense for your team.

All campers will also have a chance to hear Coach Schroeder and / or Coach Moses talk about their Olympic journey and the life lessons that they have learned along the way.

We are proud to add two-time Olympic Gold medalist Kami Craig to our Malibu Water Polo camp staff.  Kami will be spending one full day with all female campers (in and out of the water).  She will provide specific coaching for women’s water polo and have an “Olympic talk” specifically for all the female campers in attendance.
